Slarpx originated as an ambitious, yet highly experimental prototype research project. While it pushed the boundaries of system security, its uncompromising nature and experimental components made it largely unusable for daily tasks.
This vision has been completely reimagined into Hardenwing OS. By stripping away overly experimental and unstable features, a profoundly stable, reliable, and user-friendly distribution has been engineered. This new evolution brings critical bug fixes, advanced new security layers, and a full graphical desktop environment—making uncompromising Linux security finally accessible and practical for everyone.
